Technogym, the world’s leading fitness equipment manufacturer and official supplier to the London 2012 Olympic Games, is preparing to celebrate the opening of the new Technogym Village in Cesena, Italy. 800 guests are expected at the Wellness Congress this weekend and they will be hosted by guests of honour including former US President Bill Clinton and Giorgio Napolitano, the President of Italy.
The attending delegates will comprise representatives from educational institutions, leading business figures and some of the most eminent global authorities in the world of science and medicine. The new Technogym HQ aims to be the first Wellness Campus in the world, and has as its centrepiece a factory designed to allow its employees in Cesena benefit from the optimum working environment geared towards maximising their physical well-being.
The new headquarters were designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel and Partners, a renowned Italian architecture studio and includes a research and innovation laboratory, state-of-the-art production facilities alongside a wellness centre dedicated to physical activity.
This project marks 30 years since the company was founded by President Nerio Allessandri and will become the point of reference for the wellness industry worldwide. The Technogym Village will be the hub where sporting and fitness equipment is designed and developed to offer new solutions for health clubs, hotels, corporate locations and medical facilities across the globe.
