Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Supplier Diversity Summit

Yesterday, October 10, 2024, the LA Convention Center buzzed with energy as the city hosted the highly anticipated 2024 Los Angeles Sports and Entertainment Supplier Diversity (SESD) Summit. Presented by the Los Angeles Mayor’s Office and sponsored by AEG and BMO, the summit was a massive success, drawing more than 1,000 business owners and entrepreneurs eager to expand their reach in the vibrant Los Angeles market. This year’s summit offered a comprehensive platform for attendees to access resources, connect with industry stakeholders, and build strategies for growth within the city’s thriving sports and entertainment sectors.

Mayor Karen Bass, a staunch advocate for small businesses and economic growth in LA, welcomed attendees and underscored the importance of diversity and inclusivity in the city’s booming sports and entertainment industries. Her enthusiasm set the tone for a day filled with informative sessions and invaluable networking opportunities. Follow her on Instagram @mayorofla for more updates!

  • Keynote Speakers & Panel Discussions: Industry experts shared insights on leveraging upcoming opportunities like the World Cup 2026, Super Bowl 2027, and the Olympics & Paralympics 2028. These sessions empowered businesses to strategize and position themselves for success in these global events hosted in Los Angeles.
  • Business Assessment Services: Business consultants and counselors were on-site, providing personalized assessments to help attendees understand what services their business needs to thrive. This hands-on support ensured that each participant could leave with actionable steps to enhance their operations.

These one-on-one interactions allowed for practical, solutions-oriented advice tailored to the unique needs of LA-based businesses.
