“The Weeknd Goes Big In Bel Air”
Canadian-singer-songwriter Abel Makkonen Tesfaye (better known as The Weeknd) is spending $70 million of his fortune on a 33,000-square-foot home in Be Air, one of California’s most expensive homes. Jam-packed with toys including indoor and outdoor pools, movie theater and a music studio, Madonna recently bought The Weeknd’s former L.A. home for $19.3 million.
“Pamela Anderson’s Sexy-Fun-Times Home”
In March, Pamela Anderson listed her Malibu beach home for $14.9 million, putting the home that she helped design on the market after “many sexy, fun times were had here” as she told the New York Post. Her home quickly sold for $11.8 million. The Canadian-born actress is currently living on her grandmother’s property on Vancouver Island and plans to continue living in the area.
“Oprah Winfrey’s Orcas Island Estate”
Oprah Winfrey has sold a significant part of her real estate collection: a 43-acre waterfront estate on Orcas Island. Located off the coast of Seattle, the property includes a 10,251-square-foot, four-bedroom main home, a four-bedroom guest home, and a half mile of waterfront. Oprah bought the compound in 2018 for $8.3 million, did extensive remodeling, and sold it for $14 million. Oprah still owns homes in Hawaii and Colorado and her main home in Montecito, California.
