In a powerful celebration of cinematic excellence and humanitarian spirit, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences will present Oscar® statuettes to four influential figures at the 16th Governors Awards on Sunday, November 16, 2025, at the Ray Dolby Ballroom at Ovation Hollywood.
Academy Honorary Awards will go to Debbie Allen, Tom Cruise, and Wynn Thomas, while the Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award will be presented to Dolly Parton. These honors underscore lifetime achievement, artistic distinction, and service to both the industry and broader society.
