Sheryl Crow Celebrates 30th Anniversary

In a move that will delight fans and vinyl enthusiasts alike, A&M/UMe is set to release Sheryl Crow’s groundbreaking major-label debut album, “Tuesday Night Music Club,” on vinyl on December 1, as part of the celebration of its 30th anniversary. This album, originally released in August 1993, marked a turning point in Crow’s career, with her Grammy-winning hit single “All I Wanna Do.” Here’s all you need to know about this exciting release:

The Landmark Album:

“Tuesday Night Music Club” achieved a remarkable milestone by being certified 7x platinum in the United States.
This album is a pivotal moment in Sheryl Crow’s career and remains her best-selling record to date.

Vinyl Debut:

Surprisingly, “Tuesday Night Music Club” was never released on vinyl when it first came out in 1993. This vinyl release rectifies that oversight.

The album will be available in two editions: a standard 140-gram black vinyl and a stunning 140-gram limited-edition sea blue vinyl with white marbling.

The packaging includes a gatefold sleeve for added aesthetic appeal.

Audio Quality:

  • The audio for this special 1LP edition was remastered by Bernie Grundman, who used the original ½” flat master tape for a fresh, vibrant sound.
  • Grundman personally cut the lacquers at Bernie Grundman Mastering in Los Angeles, ensuring the highest audio quality.

    Grammy Legacy:

“Tuesday Night Music Club” earned Sheryl Crow three Grammy Awards: Best New Artist, Record of the Year (“All I Wanna Do”), and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance (“All I Wanna Do”).
It catapulted Sheryl Crow into the limelight and laid the foundation for her continued success as an artist.

Tracklist Highlights:

This album is a treasure trove of hits, including “Strong Enough,” “Leaving Las Vegas,” “Run, Baby, Run,” “Can’t Cry Anymore,” and “What I Can Do For You.”
It reached No. 3 on the U.S. Billboard 200 and the Top 10 in multiple countries, including the UK, Canada, and Australia, where it claimed the No. 1 spot.

Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Induction:

Sheryl Crow is set to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame this year, an honor she thoroughly deserves.
The induction ceremony will take place on Friday, November 3, 2023, at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.
This vinyl release of “Tuesday Night Music Club” is a fitting tribute to an album that not only defined an era but also solidified Sheryl Crow’s status as a music icon. As we celebrate its 30th anniversary, fans can relive the magic of this timeless classic.
