What:

Tiny Jewel Box, a Washington D.C. locally-owned jeweler, will host a public exhibit of the world’s rarest pink diamonds in partnership with L.J. West Diamonds, wholesale retailer of the greatest number of Argyle Diamonds in the United States. Twenty to 30 pieces valued at $25 million will be on display for a limited time, with select pieces available for purchase. This is the first time this collection of Argyle Diamonds will be on display in the United States.

The Argyle Diamond Mine is the world’s largest producer of pink diamonds, supplying over 90% of global production. Pink diamonds attract 20 times the price of an equivalent white diamond, and an entire year’s worth of Argyle pink diamonds can fit in the palm of your hand – making them the most highly coveted gems in the world. Argyle Diamonds has an estimated 8 years left of production, which will drastically reduce the inventory of pink diamonds available in the marketplace.

The Tiny Jewel Box exhibit is open to the public, and presents a rare opportunity for collectors to purchase one-of-a-kind pink, fancy red and blue diamonds, with a hero piece valued at four million dollars. This fleeting collection was previously on display in London and Australia, and will move on to the Asia World Expo in Hong Kong after the showing at Tiny Jewel Box.
