Sometimes, the most dangerous place for a dad is a family vacation — and Hutch Mansell is about to prove it again. Bob Odenkirk returns as the deceptively ordinary suburban husband, father, and part-time lethal assassin in Nobody 2, the adrenaline-charged follow-up to the 2021 hit Nobody.
Four years after dismantling the Russian mob, Hutch is still paying a steep price — a $30 million debt to a criminal syndicate. His day job? A relentless schedule of high-stakes hits on international criminals. Yet despite his affinity for the chaos, his marriage to Becca (Connie Nielsen) is feeling the strain. To reconnect, the couple plans a family trip with their kids (Gage Munroe, Paisley Cadorath) to Wild Bill’s Majestic Midway and Waterpark — the same spot Hutch and his brother Harry (RZA) once visited as kids.
Joining the getaway is Hutch’s father, played by Christopher Lloyd, adding some old-school charm (and a few surprises) to the mix. But Plummerville, the charming tourist town, hides a dark underbelly. After a minor run-in with some local bullies, the family’s vacation spirals into danger. Hutch soon finds himself on the radar of a corrupt theme-park owner (John Ortiz), a crooked sheriff (Colin Hanks), and the most unhinged crime boss he’s ever faced — brought to life by the legendary Sharon Stone.
Directed by Timo Tjahjanto, with a screenplay by Derek Kolstad and Aaron Rabin, Nobody 2 promises more bone-crunching action, dark humor, and the unexpected heart that made the original a standout.
