Fashion Weekend at Sunset Gower Studios has taken the lead with producing successful runway fashion events for several years.
Mikey Koffman has personally crafted L.A. Fashion Weekend into a major launch pad for local and international designers. “LAFW and KTLA 5 serve as a platform for these designers to catapult their collections into a larger fashion marketplace and imprint their designs upon an international audience,” states Koffman.

Betsey Johnson fashion presentations are always exciting. To have her present her news looks for Fall 2012 at L.A. Fashion Weekend at Gower Studios is a big plus. In 1978, revived by the punk movement, Johnson partnered with ex-model Chantal Bacon to start their own company, the Betsey Johnson label. Together they opened Johnson’s first retail store in Manhattan’s fashionable SoHo neighborhood. Since its inception, the Betsey Johnson label has grown steadily in size and reputation. The company currently has 65 stores worldwide, including locations in London, Toronto and Tokyo.
