COMMUNITY CLASSES OPEN THE DOORS AT L.A. Dance Project

L.A. Dance Project

L.A. Dance Project (LADP) is expanding access to world-class movement education with the launch of a new Community Classes series at its downtown Los Angeles studio. Running throughout February and March, the Sunday program invites dancers from across the city to train alongside LADP company artists and distinguished guest teachers in a welcoming, professional environment designed to support growth at multiple stages of practice.

This thoughtfully curated series reflects LADP’s commitment to community engagement and artistic exchange. Classes span ballet, contemporary, improvisation, somatic practices, and Countertechnique, offering both Open Level and Pre-Professional/Professional tracks. Whether participants are returning to the studio, refining advanced technique, or exploring new movement pathways, the program emphasizes accessibility without compromising artistic rigor.

The faculty roster features acclaimed LADP artists and respected educators, including Megan Paradowski, Paul Zivkovich, Shu Kinouchi, Jobel Medina, Spenser Theberge, Rosanna Tavarez, and Stephanie Zaletel. Each class foregrounds technique, creativity, and embodied awareness—hallmarks of LADP’s artistic philosophy.

Classes take place at LADP’s downtown home, 2245 E. Washington Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90021, a space that fosters connection between professional artists and the broader dance community. LADP Members receive discounted rates for all classes; members can email peter@ladanceproject.org to receive a discount code.
