Xbox Takes Over London’s Skies To Launch “Halo 4”

On the eve of the one of the most highly-anticipated blockbuster launches of 2012, Xbox 360 last night celebrated the release of “Halo 4” with a ground-breaking aerial lighting performance which dominated London’s skyline.

An enormous “Halo 4” Glyph symbol flew over the River Thames to mark the arrival of the next instalment of the “Halo” franchise. Measuring 50 feet in diameter and weighing over three tons, the Glyph is one of the largest and brightest man-made structures to ever fly over a capital city.

Celebrities such as JLS, The Wanted and Made in Chelsea stars gathered to watch the Glyph, while fans and spectators were treated to an epic aeronautical show. Following the dramatic display, the official flagship London midnight launch took place at GAME in Westfield Stratford. Here, fans queued for hours to be one of the first to get hold of the game as it was released earlier this morning.
