On Wednesday, July 18th, 2012, at Bel-Air Country Club in Los Angeles, The Social TV Summit LA (www.socialtvsummit.com) will open its prestigious, executive-only conference with what is sure to be a compelling keynote speech featuring Greg Yaitanes. Mr. Yaitanes will speak to the 200 top media and entertainment executives in attendance and to thousands worldwide through a LIVE stream on the web.

Mr. Yaitanes is a unique EMMY Award-winning creative executive with many producing and directing credits AND early investments in Twitter, Foursquare, Pinterest, and many others.

“Greg is probably the most qualified Hollywood creative executive to keynote an event like The Social TV Summit LA,” said Andy Batkin, CEO, Social Summits, LLC. “His amazing ability to create content while thinking about social media, social TV and other technologies is the future of TV,” continued Batkin.

“I am looking forward to discussing why the TV business shouldn’t be afraid of constantly experimenting with cutting-edge digital and technology solutions. Social media and new technologies have become second nature on the productions I oversee, not only from a promotional perspective but also a way to streamline the creative production model, which has become as important as actually producing creative content,” said Greg Yaitanes.

Mr. Yaitanes is one of the most influential director/producers in Hollywood, producing and directing such shows as House, Lost, Heroes, Grey’s Anatomy, CSI, Cold Case, NipTuck AND is a very tech-savvy executive with over 300,000 followers on Twitter. He is currently executive producer and showrunner of Cinemax’s upcoming Banshee. Recently quoted as saying, “I’m going to use tech to get more out of every dollar that I’m given to enhance the user experience.”
