“We are committed to creating an inspirational and meaningful book of 1,000 pages for 1,000 fans to share their personal memory of Michael,” says Marisa Garau, co-founder of Bungalow Publishing. “It’s a very different and in our eyes very valuable concept.”
This specialty publishing house is giving fans worldwide the opportunity to co-create “a unique monument of historic proportions” to Michael Jackson and his impact on their lives in a personalized work of art celebrating the legendary performer: a strictly limited edition of 5,000 copies of a bible-like book, each containing 1,000 fan farewells and featuring a cover portrait of Michael created from over 3,000 Swarovski crystals.
There is even a chance for Michael Jackson fans to WIN a chance at having their farewells included in this exclusive, luxury personalized book. Fans have until May 31, 2012 to visit http://dear-michael.com/participating- is-easy/ and write their story (300 words max. and must be written in English). There is a $10 USD entry fee. Those selected will be taking part in writing history by sharing their most personal memory of the unforgettable Michael and helping create a monument of historical significance. Their commitment to making this tribute come true will be an inspiration to millions of people around the world and to generations to come, adds Garau.
“The Michael Jackson Book Monument is the first ever monument for Michael built by his own fans, offering the highest level of fan involvement possible,” states Garau.
