The 2026 GRAMMY Awards® are coming up Saturday, February 1, and all eyes are on an exciting new generation of talent set to take center stage in a special Best New Artist performance segment. This year’s nominees—Addison Rae, Alex Warren, KATSEYE, Leon Thomas, Lola Young, Olivia Dean, SOMBR, and The Marías—represent the bold, genre-blending future of global music.
Broadcast live from Crypto.com Arena, Music’s Biggest Night® airs at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT on the CBS Television Network, with streaming available on Paramount+. Hosted by Trevor Noah, the ceremony continues its tradition of celebrating legacy icons while spotlighting the artists shaping what’s next. Earlier in the day, the GRAMMY Awards Premiere Ceremony® streams live from the Peacock Theater at 12:30 p.m. PT on www.live.grammy.com.
Each Best New Artist nominee arrives at the GRAMMY stage with momentum. Addison Rae earns her first nomination following the success of her debut album Addison. Alex Warren’s emotionally driven You’ll Be Alright, Kid and breakout hit “Ordinary” fueled his rise. Global pop group KATSEYE lands two nominations, including Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for “Gabriela.”
Already a GRAMMY winner, Leon Thomas leads the category with six nominations, including Album of the Year (MUTT) and multiple R&B honors. British standout Lola Young earns nominations for Best New Artist and Best Pop Solo Performance (“Messy”), while Olivia Dean’s The Art of Loving and hit “Man I Need” underscore her growing global reach. SOMBR’s debut I Barely Know Her brings introspective edge, and The Marías round out the slate following the success of their chart-topping single “Back To Me.”
