SKYLAR GREY’S “DON’T LOOK DOWN” SUMMER TOUR COMES TO LOS ANGELES

Grey is a five-time GRAMMY-nominated singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who is responsible for co-writing some of the most memorable songs of the past decade to light up the Billboard charts, totaling more than 25 million singles globally, including the biggest selling single of 2010: Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie,” which earned her GRAMMY Award nominations for Best Song and Best Rap Song of the Year.

She also co-wrote and appeared on Dr. Dre’s “I Need A Doctor,” which she performed alongside Dre and Eminem on the 2011 GRAMMY Awards telecast and for which she was nominated for two GRAMMY Awards. Grey has been named one of Forbes magazine’s “30 under 30” musicians in their 2012 special issue alongside Adele, Justin Bieber, Lady Gaga, Drake and Bruno Mars. More recently, she also wrote CeeLo Green’s latest single “Only You,” and is a featured vocalist on the track “Love Bullets” on will.i.am’s recent solo album #willpower from Interscope Records.

Executive Produced by Eminem and Alex Da Kid, Don’t Look Down is a 12-track album featuring songs that trace Grey’s life from rebellious childhood years to more recently as she struggled to find her place in the world, showcasing her dusky, ethereal voice and gift for haunting melodies, set to inventive, percussive beats. Tallying an impressive and growing total of more than 15 million views since its release, Grey’s fun and sarcastic first single, “C’mon Let Me Ride,” was an instant hit and amassed more than 4 million views in just 72 hours after release. This album has gained a significant amount of media anticipation recently – in addition to appearances on the 2011 GRAMMY Awards (alongside Dr. Dre & Eminem) and on American Idol (alongside Diddy Dirty Money), she has been featured on the cover of LA Times Magazine and in USA Today, W Magazine, Complex, Billboard Magazine, and was featured in this month’s Marie Claire, Cosmo and Elle Magazine, the current Hollywood Reporter “BEST OF HOLLYWOOD ISSUE,” and much more.
