This season’s showcase of celebrities and ultra- chic fashion boasts being the only runway bold enough to be broadcasted live by Los Angeles’ favorite news source KTLA 5. L.A. Fashion Weekend is shaping up to be a fabulously glamorous exhibit of the finest of couture and entertainment.
Mikey Koffman, Producer of L.A. Fashion Week, is currently lining up the fiercest names in fashion to stomp March’s runway. This season will feature the fabulous Betsey Johnson, NBC’s Fashion Star designer Lizzie Parker and America’s Next Top Model’s own Alexandra Everett. Emerging brands LAHA, a kid’s line with attitude to spare and The Ashlee Brooks Collection, a gorgeous and ethereal woman’s line will be strutting their stuff down the runway for the very first time. In past seasons L.A. Fashion Weekend, the true home of Los Angeles fashion, has hosted the most sought after designers. Fabulous names like Anthony Franco, Richie Sambora, Christina Milian and Buffalo Jeans are simply a few of the elite names that have graced the LAFW runway. With a tantalizing blend of internationally renowned and up-and-coming designers lined up for March, LAFW 2012 will be one for the books.
Koffman has personally crafted L.A. Fashion Weekend into a major launch pad for local and international designers. Jelena Vujanovic, designer of the brand Vilorija will be coming all the way from France to showcase her amazing extravagant and futuristic looks. “LAFW and KTLA 5 serve as a platform for these designers to catapult their collections into a larger fashion marketplace and imprint their designs upon an international audience,” states Koffman.
This fabulous, three-day fashion extravaganza promises to yield the most exclusive opportunities for all who attend. Fashionistas and fashion buyers alike will be afforded the chance to witness the upcoming trends for the Fall/Winter 2012 season. L.A.
