“SERVICE MATTERS” with Philadelphia Eagle, Nnamdi Asomugha and The Asomugha Foundation

On, Saturday, April 14th, Philadelphia Eagle, Nnamdi Asomugha and the Asomugha Foundation honored NBC’s Ann Curry, The Jefferson Award’s Sam Beard and Humanitarian Jordan Burnham. It was indeed a heart filled, warm gathering of distinguished men and woman who collective paid tribute to many who are in the service of helping women and children in African and within USA. The gala took place in Los Angeles at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, Heinsbergen Ballroom. The Asomugha Foundation, a 501c(3), is dedicated to the dual mission of expanding the opportunities and aspirations of urban youth in America through education and providing economic and educational empowerment to orphans and widows in sub – Saharan Africa. All proceeds from the 6th Annual Asomugha Foundation Fundraising Gala directly benefitted the Asomugha Foundation’s two award winning programs: Asomugha College Tours for Scholars (ACTS) and Orphans and Widows In Need (OWIN).  Link into their foundation’s website at www.buildingtoday.org .
