What would you do if you only had one night to find love? This summer, One Night Only brings that playful question to the big screen with a modern romantic comedy filled with sparks, missteps, side quests, and the kind of messy magic that can only happen in New York City.
Directed by Will Gluck, the filmmaker behind Anyone but You and Easy A, the film follows two strangers searching for something real on the least romantic night of the year. Academy Award® nominee Monica Barbaro stars as Allie, a hopeful romantic still believing in connection, while BAFTA nominee Callum Turner plays Owen, a recently dumped single man trying to make sense of his next chapter.
Set in an ever-so-slightly fictionalized New York City, the story unfolds on the one night when single people are allowed to have sex. But Allie and Owen may be the only two people looking for more than a quick encounter. After feeling an undeniable spark, their night becomes complicated by wrong turns, unexpected encounters, and the chaos of a city built for romance and heartbreak.
The film’s energetic cast also includes Maya Hawke, Julia Fox, King Princess, Ben Marshall, Ziwe, with screen legends Molly Ringwald and Levar Burton adding star power to the ensemble.
