The CSUN Athletic Department has announced that it will create a CSUN Sports Network Advisory Committee over the summer to help advise on content ideas and distribution strategies for the newly created CSUN Sports Network. The group will be comprised of CSUN faculty, staff, students, alumni and community leaders and they will have regular input on the videos and social media content distributed by the CSUN Athletic Department.
“We’re fortunate to be able to count many accomplished and successful media professionals among our friends and supporters and we’re looking forward to having conversations about the CSUN Sports Network with them in the coming months,” said CSUN Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Brandon Martin. “Having different stakeholders involved will be a win not only for Athletics, but for the CSUN campus community and it will be symbolic of our mantra of being one team and one family, with one goal of comprehensive excellence.”
As announced earlier this week, the CSUN Network will encompass expanded video content, live webcasts, Spanish-language feature videos through CSUN Deportes, extensive social media campaigns through the Cape Crew internship program, Spanish-language social media content through the new Twitter handle @VamosCSUN and more. Additional information about the program is available at www.gomatadors.com/CSUNSportsNetwork.
The CSUN Sports Network Advisory Committee will meet starting this fall.
