Seven-time Grammy award-winning, singer/songwriter and actress, Gloria Estefan, returns to the Hollywood Bowl as part of Gustavo Dudamel’s signature festival, Americas and Americans in a two-day event on July 25 & 26. This is the first time Estefan returns to the Hollywood Bowl after being inducted in the Hollywood Bowl Hall of Fame in 2011. These are Estefan’s only scheduled live performances this year. Estefan will be performing songs from her Grammy-nominated CD, The Standards.
The multi-lingual album, celebrates classic tunes from the Great American Songbook featuring international song classics in English, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese and French; some with new lyrics written by Estefan herself. At the Hollywood Bowl fans will also enjoy Gloria’s legendary and iconic hits including “Rhythm is Gonna Get You,” “Mi Tierra” and “Conga” performed alongside YOLA (Youth Orchestra LA) and a very special guest performer.
