FIJI Water to Return as the Official Water of the Screen Actors Guild Awards

For the second consecutive year, FIJI Water will serve as the official water for the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards® to honor the year’s best performances as well as celebrate the charitable work of actors and the Screen Actors Guild Foundation. FIJI Water, the number one imported bottled water, will be served on the red carpet, featured on the dinner tables during the televised award show ceremony and served at the official SAG Awards® Gala co-hosted by PEOPLE and the Entertainment Industry Foundation (EIF). FIJI Water will once again be a donor to the SAG Foundation’s children’s literacy and actor assistance programs.

Drawn from a protected, underground aquifer on the Fijian island of Viti Levu, FIJI Water, with its unique mineral profile and signature soft taste, is bottled directly at the source, ensuring that it is untouched. FIJI Water features naturally occurring silica and electrolytes, which creates the soft mouthfeel and distinctive taste that appeals to discerning consumers and top chefs.

“FIJI Water is proud to partner with the Screen Actors Guild for the second consecutive year to celebrate the best performances of the year and support the goodwill of the SAG Foundation and Hollywood community,” said David Ricanati, President, FIJI Water Co. “From the red carpet to the Gala, we are thrilled to showcase ‘Earth’s Finest Water’ throughout this very special night.”

The Screen Actors Guild Foundation develops and maintains programs to assist, educate and inspire SAG-AFTRA members toward their fullest potential in career, life and community. The SAG Foundation provides economic relief and catastrophic health care for union members in distress, including those affected by Superstorm Sandy; video preservation of the creative legacy of performers; and scholarships for union members and their children. The SAG Foundation also operates two award-winning children’s literacy programs: BookPALS (Performing Artists for Literacy in Schools), reading to over 60,000 children monthly in classrooms and hospitals nationwide, and Storyline Online, reaching an average of 750,000 global views each month. Additionally, it offers valuable casting seminars and related professional workshops and operates The Actors Center and Don LaFontaine Voice-Over Lab. For details, visit sagfoundation.org.
