Judith Leiberand Helen Ficalora, Project Sunshine’s retail partners, are helping to support the nonprofit during April, Project Sunshine Month, by donating a portion of sales from select products to the organization. Project Sunshine empowers a dynamic and dedicated corps of over 10,000 volunteers who bring free educational, recreational and social programs to over 60,000 children facing medical challenges and their families in hospitals across the United States, and internationally. For more than a decade, Project Sunshine, along with national and local businesses, have raised awareness and support of the organization through a series of events and programs during 2013 Project Sunshine Week (April 25th – May 2nd).
In celebration of Project Sunshine Month in April:
·Helen Ficalora designed a 14k gold Sunshine Charm ($280) which sells in her New York City, Bridgehampton, Beverly Hills, Chicago, Dallas and Palm Beach stores, www.helenficalora.com, with 25% of proceeds going to Project Sunshine during Project Sunshine Month and throughout the year. Ficalora has also launched a sterling silver Sunshine Charm ($95), with 100% of the proceeds benefitting Project Sunshine throughout the year, available at www.projectsunshine.org.
Judith Leiber, an American luxury brand, has created a Project Sunshine mirror ($225) with the Project Sunshine logo in Swarovski crystals for sale in her Beverly Hills, Costa Mesa and Las Vegas stores, www.judithleiber.com, with 10% of sales to go to Project Sunshine.
