This past weekend, L.A. LIVE transformed into a vibrant celebration of Asian American joy, humor, and heritage as thousands gathered for the Belly Laughs Festival on Saturday, July 12, and Sunday, July 13. The two-day spectacular marked the debut of the first-ever Asian American Comedy & Food Festival, and it delivered big on its promise—igniting laughter, building community, and showcasing rich cultural pride.
From the moment the gates opened at noon each day, energy pulsed through the heart of Downtown Los Angeles. Festivalgoers were treated to nonstop comedy, exquisite food, and immersive experiences that honored the diversity of AAPI stories and flavors.
