AFI FEST 2023 Announces Sponsors and Partners


The American Film Institute (AFI) has unveiled its impressive lineup of sponsors and partners for AFI FEST 2023, showcasing a diverse array of supporters. The festival, which runs from October 25 to October 29 at the iconic TCL Chinese Theatres in Hollywood, promises an exciting program featuring over 140 films, including world premieres, international Oscar® submissions, special screenings, and more. This year’s program boasts a diverse lineup, with 43% of films directed by women, 36% by BIPOC filmmakers, and 17% by LGBTQIA+ filmmakers. There are four World Premieres, three North American Premieres, and four U.S. Premieres. The festival represents 49 countries and includes 20 Best International Feature Oscar® submissions.

Notable films include the World Premiere of “LEAVE THE WORLD BEHIND” directed by Sam Esmail, the Centerpiece film “MAXINE’S BABY: THE TYLER PERRY STORY” by Gelila Bekele and Armani Ortiz, and the closing film “MAESTRO,” directed by Bradley Cooper.
