The Greek Theatre (managed and operated by Nederlander Concerts) and Gibson Amphitheatre (managed and operated by Live Nation) launches their annual joint subscription program, Premiere Marquee Club (PMC), today at PMCLA.com. Once again, the 2013 PMC lineup offers a wide variety of music ranging from emerging artists to pop icons, veteran rock stars to Latin superstars and much more. PMC members can create their own concert series with access to world-class artists, plus exclusive amenities year-round without any membership fees, starting today.
Los Lobos kicks off The Greek Theatre season with their second annual Cinco de Mayo Festival featuring special guests Kinky, El Chicano and more. International singing sensations, The Tenors grace The Greek Theatre stage on June 1st and Cyndi Lauper will celebrate the 30th Anniversary of her smash hit debut album “She’s So Unusual” on June 13th. Grammy® Award-winning superstar Barry Manilow brings Manilow on Broadway to The Greek on June 14th, 15th and 16th and the Steve Miller Band will perform with very special guest The Doobie Brothers on June 20th. Brooklyn indie-rockers, The National make their Greek Theatre debut on August 10th and Frampton’s Guitar Circus featuring Peter Frampton, B.B. King and special guest Sonny Landreth will make a stop at the venue on August 24th. Multi-platinum, Grammy® nominated pop sensation Carly Rae Jepsen will perform on September 15th and Diana Krall brings her highly anticipated “Glad Rag Doll World Tour” to The Greek on September 21st. Grateful Dead members Phil Lesh & Bob Weir bring Furthur back to The Greek Theatre for three nights October 4th, 5th and 6th after their highly successful sold-out shows last year.
Alice Cooper and Marilyn Manson will launch Gibson Amphitheatre’s PMC season with a June 6th show that rock fans definitely won’t want to miss. Then, Stevie B, Lisa Lisa, Exposé and more will appear at Hot 92.3 FM’s Freestyle Explosion on June 14th, followed by Latin pop icon Gloria Trevi on June 15th. Norteño legend Ramon Ayala will perform on July 27th. In August, Fox’s Teen Choice Awards will once again celebrate the hottest trends in television, music and film on the 11th, followed by Marco Antonio Solis on the 16th and then world-renowned Platinum vocal trio Il Volo on the 28th. Critically-acclaimed singer/songwriter Lila Downs brings her creative reinvention of traditional Mexican music to the Gibson stage on September 20th followed by Italian rocker Eros Ramazzotti on October 17th. Ranchera and Mariachi troubadour Pepe Aguilar returns to Gibson on November 8th. December will see Go Country FM’s annual Winter Fest, featuring Montgomery Gentry and the Charlie Daniels Band on the 12th, then Brian Setzer Orchestra will celebrate the 10th Anniversary of their smash “Christmas Rocks” holiday concert event on the 21st.
Also, fans who purchased tickets to Vicente Fernández’s three sold-out Gibson shows – April 26th, 27th and 28th – can apply these tickets to their 2013 PMC membership. Fans may package individual shows to create their own concert series with as few as three shows to become a member of PMC. The program begins Friday, March 8th at 10 AM (today) with an order deadline of Saturday, March 23rd.
