From 3:30 pm until almost midnight, the Hollywood Bowl came alive with the sounds of jazz, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of renowned musicians.

The festival featured an impressive lineup of artists who left the audience in awe. LACHSA Jazz, featuring talented young students from the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts, actually opened, followed by the Herbie Hancock Institute of Jazz Performance Ensemble at UCLA.. Lionel Loueke and Gretchen Parlato enchanted the crowd with their soulful melodies, while Pancho Sanchez brought the rhythms of Latin jazz to life, filling the air with infectious energy. The talented Aziza quartet, consisting of Dave Holland, Chris Potter, Lionel Loueke, and Eric Harland, showcased their virtuosity and musical chemistry.

One of the highlights of the festival was the performance by rising star Samara Joy. Her mesmerizing vocals and captivating stage presence left the audience spellbound, earning her a standing ovation.
