2013 Laureates Announced For Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards

The six Laureates of the 2013 Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards were announced last night at the Women’s Forum for the Economy and Society in Deauville. Selected among over 1,000 candidates, each presented businesses that demonstrate creativity, financial sustainability and social impact. They win the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards trophy, one year of personalised coaching and US$20,000 of funding.

The Laureates of the Cartier Women’s Initiative Awards are chosen by an independent and voluntary Jury composed of entrepreneurs and business leaders. ‘The Awards recompense women who rise to the challenge of matching social impact with economic value. From innovative waste management to education and healthcare,their businesses champion a spirit of enterprise built on values of generosity and responsibility. Cartier is honoured to accompany them and committed to encouraging their passion for new ideas,’ said Stanislas de Quercize, President & CEO, Cartier International.

With the close of this 7th edition, the competition will have supported a total of 122 women leading 111 businesses around the world.
