Soothe Launches Convenient Massage-On-Demand Service for Spa-Loving, Wellness-Oriented Individuals

While the 20th century will be remembered for the evolution of day spas offering convenient services to the masses, the 21st century is radically changing the way spa services are delivered to the customer. A product of advancements in mobile technology, Soothe is a revolutionary new massage-on-demand service for wellness-oriented individuals desiring a same-day appointment, or an advanced booking, in the privacy of their home or office.

“We’ve made it super convenient for a person to book a spa-quality massage via their mobile phone or computer with as little as 60 minutes advance notice,” says Merlin Kauffman, tech entrepreneur and founder of Soothe, who became disenchanted with limited operating hours of traditional day spas and advance-notice booking requirements. “Soothe’s uniqueness lies in its ability to connect the client to an available therapist who can quickly come to the client’s location and deliver a 5-star service at an affordable price—we have removed all the hassle for the customer, including the issue of paying the gratuity and taxes which are included. Even guests at hotels can use this service.”

Soothe’s easy-to-use online service and mobile app connects customers to a network of over 650 highly-skilled, licensed and insured Soothe massage therapists available to travel immediately to homes or offices, and deliver much-needed relief to tired, sore aching muscles and joints. The on-demand service offers a choice of Swedish, deep tissue, sports or couples massages with brief descriptions in 60-, 90- and 120-minute sessions, where appointments are offered between the hours of 10 am until 10 pm every day of the week (until midnight in Los Angeles and Orange County), with fixed prices of $99 (60 minute), $139 (90 minute), and $169 (120 minute) per person, regardless of the type of massage selected.

“People love the simplicity of the booking system that offers same-day appointments or beyond with extended operating hours—that’s why our customer reviews and ratings are off the charts,” he explains. “The ease of experiencing this new affordable luxury leaves our clients feel very soothed and satisfied.”

First, the client downloads the iOS app (soothe.com/app) and selects what type of massage is desired and the treatment length, selects the gender of the massage therapist, then enters the address of service and any notes about parking issues to facilitate the therapist’s ability to access the destination. Last, the client enters his credit card for billing. Soothe then sends a confirmation to the customer’s email.” For clients who cannot download the app, they can book via soothe.com which is available 24-7, or call a toll-free number (800.960.7668) during business hours.

In addition to offering massage for individuals and couples, Soothe offers chair massage services for corporate and special events, where a team of therapists can be present on site for a specific number of hours to service a group of individuals.

Soothe is currently available in Los Angeles/Orange County, San Diego, South Florida, Phoenix/Scottsdale and Austin, and will soon be available in Chicago, San Francisco, and New York City.
