I had the pleasure of reconnecting with Sara at STYLE Week Los Angeles where she was presenting her collection. She is a wonderful, young, Renaissance woman, who always shows off her latest collection with enthusiasm and grace. Take at peak at what she reveal at L.A. Fashion week. About Sara Horne Jewelry
Sara Horne Jewelry started about a year and a half ago, and has continually grown since then. She started the business in Tahoe as a retail worker in a small very LA style clothing boutique. Sara wanted to create pieces that were slightly more affordable and of the same quality as other similar pieces. She started having opportunities come monthly that has expanded into a vast online business.
Sara states: “I wanted the pieces, I designed to be able to transition from day to night and also have a really “organic” feeling about them sort of a sophisticated bohemian look.” All of the stones, I use are semi-precious, which is really important to me, I don’t like to use anything plastic/fake unless the design calls for it or I’m absolutely in love with something visually.
I would say that everything inspires my designs. My eyes are always open throughout the day-seeing different colors and textures or getting inspired by other pieces and working my own designs into them.
