“LET GO” OF FROZEN, US THE DUO DELIVERS YOUR NEXT MOVIE ANTHEM!

After premiering on Yahoo! Music yesterday, the new music video for US THE DUO‘s “No Matter Where You Are” is now on VEVO. You can watch the clip below.

For this captivating and cinematic visual interpretation of the breakout single, these soul mates—Michael and Carissa Alvarado—perform while donning traditional Mexican Dia De Los Muertos, “Day of the Dead”, makeup and garb. In between the performance, the video includes scenes from 20th Century Fox’s new animated film, The Book of Life, which is also inspired by the Mexican holiday.

About the video, US THE DUO comments, “A few weeks before our wedding, we sat down and wrote our vows in a notebook. We never could have imagined those vows would turn into a song that would become the backdrop for a ginormous animated film. Our personal love story is so similar to the characters in The Book of Life. So, we wanted to create a music video weaving the two together. The final product is a labor of love and a true reflection of everyone involved. We couldn’t be more proud.”

US THE DUO is currently on the road as part of Oprah’s The Life You Want Weekend“No Matter Where You Are” is featured in The Book of Life, which lands in theaters everywhere October 17th.

The group’s full-length major label debut, No Matter Where You Are [Republic Records], is out now.
