Editor’s Favorite Dessert of The Day: Georgetown Cupcake Los Angeles

I must state, I adore the store décor of Georgetown Cupcake in L.A.  Very spacious, clean and very delicious. The Thursday, November 15th kick-off celebration for the long anticipated store opening was indeed filled with the sweet sensation of tasty little treats created with a “bundle of love”.  Staff friendly, location centrally located and the store ambiance reflected a clean modern lifestyle design. Attendees enjoyed a champagne and cupcake dessert reception as they explored Georgetown Cupcake’s fifth location, the first on the west coast, at the private grand opening celebration on Thursday, November 15th.  The bakery officially opens to the public on Saturday, November 17th at 12:00pm, and is celebrating its opening with one free cupcake per person all day long.

About Georgetown Cupcake

Georgetown Cupcake offers eighteen flavors daily, including multiple varieties of chocolate, vanilla, and red velvet that are available each day, three seasonal flavors, and other flavors on rotation throughout the week. The cupcakes are baked throughout the day at the shop, and use specially-sourced ingredients such as cocoa from France and vanilla from Madagascar. Each cupcake has roughly 250 calories, except for those with less frosting such as the Chocolate Ganache variety which have approximately 200 calories.

The shop sells an average of 10,000 cupcakes daily, red velvet the top-seller.
