Best Chips of The Day – BeanFields Crispy Licious Chips!

Beanfields Bean & Rice Nacho Chips has won “Best of Show” by VegNews, America’s premier vegetarian lifestyle magazine. This coveted award was announced at the 2012 Natural Products Expo West, the nation’s largest natural products trade show, held March 9-11 in Anaheim, CA. Combing through the Expo’s 60,000+ attendees and nearly 2,000 exhibitors, VegNews editors awarded Beanfields (Vegan) Nacho Chips top honors for best new vegan snack product.

“Beanfields is a leader of snack innovation in the natural foods industry; they continue to develop high-quality snacks, including first-ever vegan snack options. We are pleased to honor their accomplishments with a VegNews Best of Show Award,” says VegNews Associate Publisher Colleen Holland. “We are obsessed (no, really) with Beanfields’ new Nacho Bean & Rice Chips. The vegan answer to Doritos!” added VegNews New Products Manager Lyndsay Orwig. Beanfields Nacho Chips are the first chips to have all the cheesy flavor of nacho and be dairy-, MSG-, and articificial anything-free. The title of “Best of Show” is awarded by VegNews to the best of the best in new vegan products that are changing the meaning (and taste) of eating vegan.

“At Beanfields we started with an idea to make the best tasting chips using the best USA farmed beans, rice and non GMO ingredients we could source; To make an all-natural snack that tastes great, provides nutrition, and is free of all the major allergens, including dairy; To work diligently to put this product on the market so that others can benefit from its crunchy, fulfilling goodness. And yes, we were also hoping that someone would notice. Thank you, VegNews!”, added Roy Glidden, Beanfields Co-Founder and Vice President, while accepting the “Best of Show” award at Expo West.

This is the seventh annual VegNews magazine Best of Show Awards. This sought-after award generates an astounding amount of entries and buzz at the Natural Products Expo West—and far beyond. Winners receive exclusive bragging rights plus a beautiful framed award, a feature in the July+August 2012 issue of VegNews, and excellent publicity generated through the awards. The feature will also be included on the magazine’s award-winning website, vegnews.com.

In addition, NewHope360, New Hope Media’s on-line magazine picked Beanfields Nacho chips one of the top 15 best new vegan products of the show and had this to say: “Vegan Doritos made without corn or cheese? Beanfields’ new Nacho Bean & Rice chips are tasty proof that anything can be veganized without compromising flavor”. And finally, Natural Solutions magazine, which is available at over 12,000 retail outlets, named the nacho chips as a top 10 best overall product pick at the Expo West!
